How Stella Got Her Groove Back

Stella got her groove back YEARS ago and when you're in a job that you love, like I do and you always love to make people smile, sometimes you lose yourself. This week, I was able to make to make two of my favorite things,a Dia de los Muertos sugar skull and a Chuck Taylor Converse! The best part, it's ALL cake! To make the template for the shoe, I actually cut my favortie pair of shoes up. I cried, yes, I did as I'm partial to my shoes when they are broken in. It's a good thing I have a couple other pairs in different colors till I break down and buy me another pair. The sugar skull cake was alot of fun because I was allowed complete freedom of design and color. I went with a black background as I thought the colors would look more rich and stand out more! I love what I do and so very grateful for my clients and so excited for the women that ordered these cakes this week as I'm no longer feeling writers block, so-to-speak! I'm also looking forward to neek weeks cakes too as a one year old fiesta cake is in the works! Have a Sweet Day ~XOXO~
