Amazing Milestones

I was blessed to make a couple of cakes this week. The first cake for one of my sweet friends Brandy. Her daughter Ariel turned 1 years old & I also made her baby shower cake as well. I made her Princess Sea inspired cake. Ariel is one of the most adorable & beautiful babies I've ever seen & I just love her mother, Brandy, so very much & so glad to call her a friend! Happy Brithday Ariel!!! The next cake I had this week is for a family friend's mother. Carol is celebrating her mothers 80th Birthday!!! Her favorite color is red, but thought that a mouth full of red icing might not be the best thing ;-) So I piped the cake and airbrushed it shimmery pink and added a little bit of glitter. The "80" on top of her cake is made from fondant & is covered in edible glitter called Disco Dust. It was a light pink & decided to get a bit darker, but looks better. Here's to your 80th Birthday!
