Happy 2013 !!!

Happy New Year!!!!! I hope that everyone had a wonderful & safe New Years Eve last night! Mine was amazing & today I watched my little sister perform in the Rose Bowl Parade! I'm so very proud of what an amazing young woman she's become. I was asked this past week to make a cake that I normally would not make. I'm not very confidant in making certain things, but I gave it a go & Tara said that she loved it. I made a '62 Chevy Truck for her father's 50th Birthday. He works on trucks & restores them. She's an absolute sweetheart & I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful client! Marissa turned 15 & I'll be making her Quince cake this month. But her birthday was Dec.29th & I was able to make her a cute Juicy Couture cake. I also made several NYE Goodie Boxes. They consisted of Raspberry Meringes, Pink Champagne Cupcakes, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, & Cornbread with Blackeyed Peas. I'll be making some Valentine's boxes up with Strawberry Meringes shaped like hearts. I also had an order for some New Years Cupcakes. I think they turned out really cute. I'll be making some new cupcake toppers this year & adding them to my Etsy shop, so I hope you all look forward to that. Have a Sweet Day ~XOXO~
